Dr. Masato Sagawa is the visionary inventor of the sintered neodymium–iron–boron (Nd-Fe-B) permanent magnet, the most powerful magnetic material in existence. His contribution revolutionized modern technology, from electric vehicles to renewable energy systems.

A recipient of the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering (2022) and the Japan Prize (2012), Dr. Sagawa currently serves as the President of NDFEB Co., Ltd. and provides strategic guidance to IJ-AAI in bridging Japanese excellence with Indian industrial goals.
